On the new acquisition computer (Quickly), with the new software, a service must be running to communicate with the electronics.
I’ve made it so the required service starts automatically when the computer is rebooted, but it only works if the electronics are on at restart time. So if ever you get an error about the rack not being found when starting Acq, you should run this command, after the electronics are on.
sudo service ctfmeg restart
When successful, it takes a few seconds then outputs a number. You can then start Acq.
All users can now do this sudo command, so no need to switch to megadm anymore.
