Slack to contact Marc

In order to make it easier to contact me (Marc) quickly during a MEG session, I’ve created a Slack user* and pinned a Slack tab in Chrome on the stim computer. There’s also a bookmark on the Chrome bookmark bar. If you need to log in, and the password box is not shown, click on the link “log in with password”. The user email and password are saved in Chrome, and on a post-it stuck on the stim computer screen. After logging in, it may ask to open the app, just click on “open in browser”.

*Of course, if you already have a NeuroSpeed Slack account, you may use it as well.

Once logged in Slack, click on Marc’s name on the left panel to send a quick message. During normal hours, I’ll come to help as soon as I get the notification. If I’m not at The Neuro, I’ll do my best to assist, but I may not be as quick to notice the message. I recommend calling on weekends, or if I don’t reply within 1-2 minutes.

You can always try calling my cell. The number is on the lab safety sheet next to the MEG lab entrance in the corridor. However, I don’t always have good reception at work, even on level 3. I would not recommend text messages in general.
