I am making a separate document to fully document all the changes resulting from the current* electronics upgrade, including features, errors, software bugs, etc.

*Partly new, partly refurbished DSQ-3500 version. We previously had version DSQ-2005.

I will likely include the most critical items as additional posts in this thread.

As a quick reminder of the most important practical info in the document:

  • If an error happens in the middle of a recording, click Continue, so you can save the data.
  • In the new Acq v6.2:
    • if the head motion pop-up appears, dismiss it quickly to avoid a crash.
    • don’t click too quickly in the initial head localization window.
  • In Acq v6.1: there will always be an error pop up when starting Acq. click Continue
  • Restarting if repeated errors: MEG (ECC button) off, then on, then head box (power cable below rack) off/on, waiting 15 s between each step.
  • Keep head box shelf away from helmet.

Inform Marc of any crashes and when they happened, and save error messages.
