Defluxing a sensor with DsqSetup

This is a stub post meant as a reminder for how to deflux a MEG sensor, one of the only steps you can take to attempt fixing one or more misbehaving sensors. This info is also in the MEG lab manual (black binder on the shelf above the acquisition desk).

  1. Close Acq completely.
  2. Open a terminal, and run: DsqSetup
  3. Write the sensor name in the field at the top right, e.g. MLT27 and press enter.
  4. Press the deflux button, wait about 10 seconds for the process to finish.
  5. Either repeat for another sensor, or close DsqSetup.

Please always mention sensor issues to Marc, even if you are able to fix them by restarting the electronics or defluxing.
